Xion Global Update April 2022
Time for some updates on the Xion Global payment gateway, team, achievements and exciting upcoming features.
First and foremost the Xion Global founders, Ronan & Aeryn Quarmby recently attended the Miami BTC Conference and connected with several integration partners, VCs and industry leading individuals.
This gives Xion the connections to scale their team, marketing, jurisdictions and overall payment gateway infrastructure on all fronts.
Updates Overview
Fiat <> Crypto Partnership
In just the first day, Xion secured a fiat <> crypto integration that gives consumers access to over 1000+ fiat payment options with automatic stable coin conversions for immediate merchant payouts. A seamless one REST API integration for credit card processing and local payment methods.
The strategic partnership announcement will be coming within the next month.
Elk Finance x Xion Multi-Chain Crypto Payments
Xion continues to work closely with the Elk Finance team on bringing 16+ chains to the Xion Global payment gateway.
By utilising Elk Finance’s cross-chain bridging solution, Xion Global merchants will be able to offer their consumers the ability to pay with the crypto of their choice and merchants will receive stablecoin payouts, such as xDAI.
In turn, merchants will also have the ability to bridge their xDAI stablecoin revenue to several stablecoins on different chains (e.g. xDAI stablecoin on Gnosis Chain to DAI stablecoin on Polygon).
Last but not least, this multi-chain payment integration will support custom token listings for merchants. This gives merchants the opportunity to increase the utility of their token by adding their token to the Xion Global payment gateway as a method of payment.
LuxFi x Xion Sandbox
The LuxFi and Xion Global partnership brings about many multi-chain and multi-party crypto payment gateway avenues with LuxFi and their luxury clients, such as: Creating luxury 3D assets that are connected to the Xion Global Payment gateway for on-off site fiat and crypto payment processing, integrating the Xion Global payment gateway into their luxury NFT marketplace with split payments in the near future.
Right now, Xion’s sandbox designer team are creating luxury wearable assets that’ll be added into the Sandbox for digital to physical purchases. This means, Sandbox users will soon be able to purchase the physical version of their wearable NFT (e.g. shoes) using an external checkout, hosted by the Xion Global payment gateway.
Customer Management for Xion Global Merchants
Xion has been revealing sneak peaks of their latest customer management features in anticipation for its release.
Simply put, merchants will now be able to; track customer lifetime value, collect outstanding subscription payments, view customer details (shipping, email etc), view one-off/recurring transactions and last but not least the ability to pause, unsubscribe or active individual and/or bulk customer subscriptions.
Currently, the smart contracts are being upgraded and tested to accommodate all of the new subscription management functions.
Metaverse & Gaming Multi-Party Payments
Xion is currently assigning additional resources to their team, in order to provide their 70+ metaverse and gaming clients with an API that can be integrated for in-app crypto payments by the end of Q2 2022.
This new multi-party payment feature is called Xion Connect, that’ll have an API and a related set of tools to route payments between a business, customer, and recipients who need to get paid in crypto.

Conclusion
The Xion team is currently in LA securing additional integration partners, gaming clients, advisors, senior management roles and overall planning to expand the payment gateway in the coming months.
