Xion Global Releasing Updates for Payments Platform
Xion Global is rolling out updates on the platform to maximize user experience in the coming weeks. These updates coming are some of the feedback we got from merchants after rolling out our beta launch early last month. Xion Global aims to make it easier for merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrency.
Some of the updates that we have lined up for the platform include; New UI updates for creation of products, checkout buttons and payment links; updated menu and layout for quick functions; cashback pop-ups for single billing product checkout buttons where the cashback chest is unlocked; subscription discount pop-ups and hosted checkout validation that allows merchants to confirm if users qualify for compounded discounts.
Xion Global Launching Update for Connecting Wallets & Product Creation UI
Xion Global has included a feature for connecting wallets on mobile devices on the hosted checkout. This feature will allow shoppers to make payments with any of the supported cryptocurrencies while using their phones or personal computers (PCs). Also, merchants will have the opportunity to share their payment links or wallet address.
We are currently busy with a UI update for payment options, management, products, my orders and wallet page. All these UI updates will make it easier for Merchants to get started with accepting crypto payments for their products/services. We additionally got feedback from our merchants during the beta launch on being able to manage currencies. Following this, we enabled this feature in the ‘view transactions’ section. We will also be releasing several payment options for merchants in partnership with a global crypto payments platform, ForumPay, up from just xDAI and XGT options. Merchants and shoppers will soon have a wider range of payment options at their disposal such as BTC, ETH, XRP etc.
Merchants can also go through ‘my orders’ section to establish what currency was used to pay. With the renewal retry count update, we want to make sure merchants and customers know how many retries have been attempted for their renewals (once it reaches the 5th retry, then it is automatically unsubscribed).
Xion Global To Support API & Plugins for Merchants
Xion Global is introducing APIs & Plugins for merchants. The APIs will take approximately 6 weeks to finalize. This will include general APIs In preparation for several plugins such as: WordPress, Magento, Woocommerce & others. After the APIs, each plugin will take approximately 2 weeks. These are solely estimations and could be extended or reduced based on our dev capacity.
